Captured

Summer has finally arrived , thank goodness and I've been able to get some fab photos of the family and our little trips.
This layout features my youngest son on one of our trips. After walking quite a way we sat down for a rest. I often wonder what he is thinking when he sits quietly and when I ask him he says "nothing". What does he think about!!!

The Mohnesee

My next layout is pics of the Mohnesee. I have trouble with my journalling,it's a bit short and boring, something I must improve.

My Sunday

My weekend has just flown by, why doesn't the week? Maybe I should stop wishing my life away eh?
Today we went to a place in Germany called the Mohnesee. It's famous for it's dam which was bombed in WW2. It's a great place, really beautiful countryside and lake.
We took lots of pics but today I'm just going to show you a layout that I made for a template challenge. It's of my daughter walking along one of the paths alongside the lake.



The template challenge is at the Digital Scrap Cafe forum here. I've used a kit by Pink Reptile Designs called Say Cheese. It's a great kit and you can use it for any layout theme. I'm sure I'll be showing you lots more layouts using todays photos soon.

Saturday Morning Breakfast

My next layout is of this morning's breakfast. We sometimes go to our local bakery for a continental breakfast. This morning we decided to go, so here is my layout to remind us of it when we are back in the UK.

Milly

One of today's layouts is of our dog Milly, she is a lab/retriever and completely mad.



I have used a kit by Pink Reptile Designs called Furry Friends. It is for both your cat and dog layouts. Great embellies in this one. It's available from Zig Zag Scrap.

Friday's Layouts

I have made two layouts today.We bought a pool for the kids this afternoon as the weather has been so nice and is set to be the same all weekend. Both layouts feature my youngest two and my dog Milly having fun in the pool.





Both layouts were made with the same kit and that is Lazy Summer Days by Scooty's Designs. It is available at Zig Zag Scraps.

Yum yum

Since getting into this digi scrapping I seem to be buying on average a kit a day. Today is no exception!!! Love this kit, really versatile and could easily be used with any other kit.
I've used photos of the kids at the local ice cream parlour.

Today's layout is again using Dunia Designs Come as you are kit. I really love the colours of this kit, nice and bright!!

Having Fun

Here's another layout for today , this one is called Having Fun and I have used a Road Side Designs template and a gorgeous kit which I purchased today. The kit is called Come as you are and is designed by Dunia Designs. I love the colours in this kit.It is available from Zig Zag Scrap.

Template Challenge

Over on the Digital Scrap Cafe forum there is a lovely free template by Pom for you to use as a challenge here.




Here is my layout, I turned it 90 degrees.



I've used a lovely kit from Val C Designs called Fun Party.The photos were taken a couple of days ago on Father's Day. The kids decided to play Mario Kart with daddy on the Wii.

Just a quick layout

I did this quick layout today, didn't have much time but wanted to have something to put on the blog.



This kit comes from Laeti-Scrap Designs and is called Illusion. It is available at Digiscrapbooking.ch

The pics were taken this spring on a lovely sunny day.

Cup of tea?

Today's layout is a pic of my daughter on her 3rd birthday. We bought her a little pink teaset which had some boxes of pretend groceries. I can remember drinking lots of tea that day!!!



This layout has been made using some of the papers and elements from a Fei- Fei's Stuff kit called Love at first cuddle. It is available at the Oscraps store.

Bielefeld Tierpark

There is a tierpark near us, here in Germany. It's an animal park,a petting zoo and also a play park. We go quite often when the weather is nice.The animals are really well looked after and there are always babies to see.
My first layout is of the wolves, we made sure we got there early to see them being fed.



I have used a kit by Lorie Davison and is called Flitting Fall Faerie.Her designs can be found at Scrapbook Graphics.

My next layout is of my favourite animals the otter. We also made it in time to see them being fed. These really are gorgeous animals, so playful and inquisitive.



For this layout I have used By the Lily Pond by Magical Reality Designs. The kit is available at Pickleberry Pop.

I have a few more layouts from the Tierpark but I'll keep them for a later date.

Cheeky Monkey

Today's layout is made with a gorgeous kit from Nina Scraps called Nicks World. Beautiful colours for a boy. I have used a template by Roadside Designs.


This is my youngest son and no matter what he does he always looks cheeky!!

From the heart challenge by Studio Dutchie

Today I did a layout for the Studio Dutchie From the Heart challenge. She designed some word art and I made the layout around these words.

I like to keep my past life as it is "in the past" but I really did like this saying.

The kit is called Fresh Outdoors and is a collab kit by the studio girls. It's a massive kit and is on offer at 50% of the original price. You can find it here.

I've used a kit called Indian Summer by Little Angel Designs gorgeous summer colours in this one.The photo is a recent one of the kids and dog playing in the garden with a crazy daisy.

Hannover Zoo

Here's a layout thats quite busy. They don't look too happy but when it was all done they were more than proud of their painted faces.



This kit is designed by Mary Fran of Nitwits. The kit is called the
HullabaZoo Collection.Mary Fran has some gorgeous collections just right for those kiddie layouts.

My Inspiration

I'll start with a layout that shows you where most of my inspiration comes from.



These are my four children.It's hard to get a photo of them all together as my eldest daughter is at Uni in the UK, my eldest boy boards during the week at a 6th form, but of course the two youngest are with me all week. These photos were taken at Christmas just gone.

Welcome

Welcome to my new blog. I've done quite a few crafts in my time, cardmaking, jewellery, cross stitch etc. But now I don't have a lot of time I have gone over to digi scrapping. Doesn't take up much room and I can fit it in with my job. The only problem now is.... I'm always buying lovely kits and templates!! My PC is getting a little overloaded!!

I have made quite a few digi layouts so I'll kind of put them on this blog gradually, don't want to overload you all.
