Ok so it's an ahhh cos I've found a great designer that I really (REALLY) like. It's Wish Bliss Studios and I went ahead and bought 3 of her kits in one go. She has a great sketchy technique. So here is a digital ATC I made. For this ATC I've used Wish Bliss's kit called Some Kind Of Wonderful.And for the word art I've used Dawn Inskip's Expressions of life.I used a watercolour effect in photoshop for the photo of my daughter. You can find all of Wish Bliss's kits at After Five Designs. Oooh and latest news this ATC got into the April GSO's at Deviant Scrap!!

I came across Deviant Scrap today on the web and became inspired to do something with the free kit called Colour Splash that they offered. It's a massive kit and well worth downloading. If you get the Deviant Muse (another freebie)then there is a code for you to get the kit for free.

My first piece is a layout featuring items from just the Colour Splash kit.

UKS weekly challenge

I'm back

I am finally back!! We moved to Scotland on the 11th and have only just been able to get online again, BT service is quite bad.
Anyway I'm here now and absolutely loving where I live. We have the best of both worlds, beaches, mountains, woodland, forests and of course big shopping centres, bliss.
I have taken so many photos it's just finding the time to make them into layouts now. But.. I have been really good and I've managed to keep up with my daily 365 project.
I have lots of layouts to show but don't know where to start! So watch out for the next few posts to catch up.
My mother in law is arriving today for a visit so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to get the layouts onto this blog but I'll try.

Offline for a while

Well this will be my last post for a while. We are moving from Germany to Scotland in a few days. So I will be offline until we get settled in Scotland, hopefully middle of January. I have scheduled a couple of posts showcasing some new products by Avital Designs and Cornelia Designs. I just hope it works!!

I have also decided to take part in a 365 project for next year too. So I will be taking photos along the way of our journey. I will have lots to photograph, new house, new schools, new area and hopefully new job!! As well as our actual journey in getting to Scotland.

Yay I have been picked to be on the Four Little Pixels CT. To start with I have been given this gorgeous kit called "Twas the Night" to work with and I must say I really enjoyed working with it. It was just right for the pics I had of Christmas Eve last year. We have always had the tradition of leaving Santa and his reindeer food and drink out. This kit really works well with the pics.

Another layout using Dawn Inksip's kit "Wishes". This time I've used photos that I took today of the kids and hubby sledging down a little hill. We've had a little snow but we managed to find a patch big enough to use for the sledge.

I couldn't resist this kit , new from Dawn Inskip. It's called Wish and it's ideal for all those snowy, Christmassy photos.

I had to mix and match the photos so they are from different years. Once the kids reach Year 4 they stop doing nativity plays and just do a carol singing instead. So Tyrrell's photo is a bit earlier. He played a king in 200 and Robbyn was an angel last year. Both will be carol singing this year.
